Privacy policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026. The short version: this is a static site. We run no analytics of our own, and we collect as little as the ad network and your browser require.
What we do not do
- No first-party analytics, cookies, or fingerprinting. Page loads are never tracked by us.
- No accounts, no comments, no forms that store your data — contact forms open your own mail client.
- No third-party scripts. If we add display advertising in the future, it will be described below.
Display advertising (Google AdSense)
We don't currently show ads. If we add Google AdSense display ads in the future, Google may set cookies (including DART) and may receive limited request data (IP address, browser type, referring page) to serve and measure ads. Google's ad cookies let an ad network show you ads based on your past visits to this or other sites. You can opt out of personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings. Ad clicks open the advertiser's site, which has its own privacy policy.
Affiliate links
When you buy through a product link, the merchant (or its affiliate network, e.g. Amazon) may set cookies to attribute the sale to our referral. That data is used to compute our commission; it does not identify you to us. See the affiliate disclosure.
Local storage on this site
The theme toggle stores your light/dark preference in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it any time.
Your rights
We hold no personal data of our own, so there is little for us to act on. For ad-related requests (access, correction, portability) contact Google directly or via Google's privacy help. For anything else, write to desk@thebestop10.com.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what data flows, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, note it on the site.
